Trail (Three of a Kind / Set)

Also known as: Trio, Prial, Set

Three cards of the same rank. This is the highest possible hand in Teen Patti. The best Trail is three Aces (A-A-A), and the worst is three 2s (2-2-2). Three Aces beats three Kings, which beats three Queens, and so on.

Pure Sequence (Straight Flush / Running Flush)

Also known as: Running, Pakki Running

Three consecutive cards all of the same suit. A-K-Q of spades is the highest Pure Sequence. A-2-3 is also a valid Pure Sequence (Ace can be high or low). Suit does not affect the ranking between two Pure Sequences of equal rank.

Sequence (Straight / Run)

Also known as: Running, Straight

Three consecutive cards of different suits. A-K-Q is the highest Sequence, and A-2-3 is also valid. If two players have a Sequence, the one with the higher top card wins. If equal, the middle card is compared, and so on.

Color (Flush)

Also known as: Flush, Colour

Three cards of the same suit that are not in sequence. When comparing two Colors, the highest card wins. If equal, compare the second card, then the third. A-K-J of any suit beats A-K-9. The suit itself does not matter for ranking.

Pair (Two of a Kind)

Also known as: Double, Jodi

Two cards of the same rank plus one different card (the kicker). When comparing Pairs, the higher pair wins. If both players have the same pair, the kicker (the third card) determines the winner. A-A-K beats A-A-Q. The highest possible pair is A-A-K.

High Card (No Combination)

Also known as: Nothing hand

Three cards that don't form any combination above. This is the weakest hand type. When comparing High Card hands, the highest card wins. If equal, compare the second, then the third. A-K-J beats A-K-9. This is the most common hand you'll be dealt.
